Start time:

8.30am

Please note that the 2010 Cotswold Journey event is now full. Places remain on the Anticlockwise Cotswold Outing or the Cotswold Expedition.

The Cotswold Journey is a moderately stiff challenge. There are three stages of forty to sixty kilometres. The first and third stages cross leafy south Warwickshire, while stage 2 weaves through the picture-postcard limestone villages of the northern Cotswolds.

About a quarter of the route is new for 2010. The middle section has been modified and extended slightly, making the ride more scenic and increasing the overall distance to the classic 100-mile mark. The essential character of the ride remains unchanged, and the much-praised controls at Broadway Tower and Shutford are still on the itinerary.

These were designed for the Garmin Etrex Vista Hcx but may work on some other Garmin models. If you wish to use them it is suggested that you open the files in Mapsource and upload the route, track and waypoints to your Garmin device. Then navigate the routes using off-road mode and ensure the tracks are selected for display on the map.
