Audaxes HQ
Beacon RCC's Cotswold Audax rides start and finish at Woodrush
Rugby Club, Wythall, south Birmingham.
The club has free off-road parking for several hundred cars, separate changing
and shower facilities for men and women and comfortable facilities in which to
eat and socialise before and after the event. Located just a couple of
miles from junction 3 on the M42, the HQ is a short drive for anyone in the West
Midlands, just an hour from Bristol or the East Midlands, and about ninety minutes
from the M25. And, of course, it's easy to get there by bike for anyone in the
south Birmingham & Solihull areas. At the HQ, light refreshments are
served before the events and an extensive range of hot and cold foods is available
to riders on their return. Après-velo grub consists of sweet and savoury fare,
including loads and cake, sandwiches and the famous Beacon pastas and pizzas.
Meaty and vegetarian options are provided. |
