HQ Facilities: The HQ is at the Hartlebury Industrial
Estate cafe which always provides a warm welcome to cyclists.
A wide variety of hot food is on sale at very reasonable prices.
Toilets are available.
Parking: There is ample parking at the HQ. Please
follow the instructions of the marshals.
Refreshments Before the Event: The HQ will be open
from 7am and you are welcome to purchase hot drinks and food.
Refreshments After the Event: On completion of the
ride you will be given a FREE food voucher that will entitle
you to:
- A mug of tea or coffee
- Beans on toast or any other food on the menu to the same
value
- A slice of home-made cake.
Controls: Please be aware that we have asked the cafes
on our event whether they are willing to 'host' a control.
However cyclists riding the event arrive as normal customers
and should use the cafe with normal courtesy. Very large numbers
of riders may arrive at the same time and, despite the notice
they are given, this may stretch the cafe staff to their limit.
Please be patient, understand the situation the cafes are
in and show due consideration to their non-cycling customers.
- Raphaels Cafe, Evesham is a delightful cyclist friendly
cafe on the banks of the River Avon serving a variety of
hot & cold food.
- Bridge House Tea Rooms, Upton upon Severn has hosted
our control for a couple of years now and the proprietors
are very familiar with hungry cyclists' needs.
