Beacon Faces
Beacon RCC is a large club, and new members
are joining all the time. Getting to know all the faces can
be a challenge both for the joiners and for the established
members. In an age when many of us ‘chat’ to each other mainly
in a virtual forum, it’s also good to put a face to the ‘voice’
on the message board. So, on this page, you will see an array
of Beacon Faces: a gradually expanding visual who’s who of
club members.
No one has to be included. Charles White,
George Barker and maybe others will be collecting mugshots
at Beacon gatherings from time to time, but if they ask to
take your photo and you’d rather they didn’t, just say so.
If there’s a picture of you here, and you don’t want to be
included at all, it’s easy to get the picture removed: just
send a message from the ‘Contact
us’ page. If you don’t mind being included, but you don’t
like the picture of you that’s here, you can ask Charles or
George to try again, or send in a picture of your own. The
intention is that all the photos should be head-and-shoulders
only, and should make it easy for people to recognise you.
Action shots aren’t a good idea.
