AUDAXES FOR 2021: HAPPY NEW YEAR AND SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO. Happy New Year all. If stories are to be believed, 2021 will eventually improve compared to 2020. We as cyclists witter on about road safety and irresponsible drivers but quite often we completely ignore common sense when it comes to personal safety in winter conditions. POST EVENT ROUND-UP It is was cold, it was wet and some people rode to the start through snow on St Kenelm’s Pass. Nonetheless, I was surprised by such a good turnout. COLD, RAIN AND SNOW JUST TO START A BEACON AUDAX

This morning I set off a large proportion of the 30 entrants on the Salt and Cotswolds audax. Some had to ride through snow on the Clent Hill followed by heavy rain just in order to get to the start but the day has now turned out fine and sunny. In true X rated audax tradition, the event started fro...

I guess that must be one of the old red types with greenish ice cream cone on the front. I had one but gave it to Paul Prince to display on his wall at Cultracing.

They were produced by Impsports and the tops fitted very well but the shorts, well all can do is
