Re: Sunday 18th July- Upton - 08:30 start - 14-15 mph

Another cracking ride guys, thanks to Si Walker for leading. Lessons learnt from today:- 1) if you have self adhesive Park repair patches stuck on Latex tubes, DONT leave your bike in direct sunlight! 2) Horses like polo mints, which to be honest I thought that everyone knew that, mentioning no name...

YHA Weekend Rides

Just putting the thought out there to discuss. But years ago YHA weekends were quite a normal occurrence once or twice a year. So just wondering if there is any mileage in considering doing another one or two? Cap the one way out mileage to about a 100 mile radius and keep the group down to a small ...

The trouble with starting later and again from painful experience, you get caught behind big groups of very slow people. On the narrow lanes and especially on the climbs its a nightmare and can be quite hazardous.

Once you have accepted the invite, go to the Beacon Zwift Channel. You can just use your phone or tablet as a means of talking, but i would suggest using ear buds that have a mic combined within.
