Tomorrow will be a difficult day for riding. Be mindful that if the rain starts falling on to sub zero roads the result will be very precarious conditions under-wheel. Hi Adrian, Anne and I have tried to keep this date clear but to no avail. I am in Newcastle-U-L for track riding (gate starts) and Anne has to stay at home due to builders cutting off water supply that day. (Don't ask)! Sadly I'm not seeing a rush of volunteers on here. We hope all goes well.

Rich K, I find myself v upset that you may not be able to race again (hopefully just the near future). You rode for pure enjoyment of racing and you were certainly one of the most committed of riders and a strong supporter of the Club TT scene. Get better ASAP.

Hi folks I got back home just fine though hitting the deck at my age aint too smart. Front tyre was deliberately slightly under inflated to help with slippy conditions (75psi) but is old, slick and, as was the custom, 23 mm. It is now in the bin! Living just up the hill from this island means it's almost unavoidable for me. I have stated to hug the RHS of the RHL until exiting the island and then making my way across to the inside provided that it is clear. I am not sure of any real safe way of coping with this.

I ride the worlds age group team pursuit tomorrow. I don't expect anyone to follow me but if you want to catch up then I hope that the following may be helpful. California is 8hrs behind you. I agree entirely George. Most aspects of bike riding have greatly improved over time and the only major negatives to lament are the number of vehicles on the roads and the parlous state of said carriageways.
