Any more offers for timekeeping. As you can see from the list we are struggling a bit. Some of these events need more than one timekeeper. Namely the 9 mile events. If more than 20 people turn up its not possible to do the event without two timekeepers. In two of last years 9 mile events we had over...

Little Mountain Time Trial and Janet Kelly Memorial 10

Hi everyone The club is promoting two open time trials this year. We are a bit short of timekeepers.

It's easy enough to do and quite good fun so come on guys.

In particular the 9 mile events are usually very popular and if more than 20 people turn up its not possible to run the event without 2 timekeepers.

Beacon Heroica

So the first of the 5 mile events in July will be the Retro event. Bikes to qualify must be round tubes no rims deeper than 30mm no tri bars. It would be nice though if the bikes were actually retro so I'm thinking along the lines of an extra handicap for bikes pre modern age. By this I mean pre ahe...

A very satisfactory conclusion to the Handicap competition. It's a draw with both of the leaders opting to not ride the hill climb and share the honours. It's been an extreamly tight competition all year and I'd like to thank everybody who competed for making it a very enjoyable season.

Perfectly explained Richard. Simon Dighton works all this out. He does exercise some discretion if courses are similar over the same distance. So for example you may consistently do middling 23min 10s. If you then ride a club 10 on a course you haven't got a time for but is similar to most other 10 ...
