Rocked up to ride the Birmingham midland TT on the K 1 10 in Knowle to find yes you've guessed it Road works . It was right near the start of the course so it just got shortened to a 9.6 mile event. it is still a nice course though .

Challenging conditions I think the wind actually veered (or backed) by about 90 degrees during the event .Plus that type of rain that gets you really well

I rode the course today have to report 2 lots of road works with temp signal one in Martley next to the Crown and the right turn onto the second part of the course. And the other outside the new houses by the old HQ in Great Whitley neither looked substantial so should be gone by Sunday .fingers cro...

One tough mother of a course all the climbing in one large hit . The second side of the triangle when the TT bike sould have come into its own was too windy for my bike handling skills on the first lap , better on the second . And that's one he'll of a descent for the 3rd side of the triangle . Glad...

Didn't get in on the Merthyr event . Perhaps entering under my pet name of Edward 1st of England was not such a good idea. There is a Worcester st johns 25 on the same day so I've entered that instead . That one closes tomorrow

Entered the Buxton event and the LMTT and I'm up for the Aero Coach TTs and the Halesowen training .
Only slightly miffed the Vets and Women seem to be limited to the shorter course at Buxton . Clearly a DJ Trump sponserd event . Bet I'm glad on the day though

Afraid I'm actually 2 years older than my bike depending on which month it was made . Do you think my carbon Trek will still be around in 53 odd years time . No me neither !

The combined age of me and bike(well most of it ) will be will be 107 , about the time in minutes it will take me to complete the course, a TT bike might well be worth half a minute but that,s on a modern road bike. Rode the course on Friday,there were temporary traffic lights on one corner where there was a service station and a pub, Hanbury Maybe??? didn't look like there was any serious work going on but then it never does .
