Re: Club runs - 13th October

C Run leaders. Come on folks. It's not that difficult, just have a look at a map, maybe make a few notes, put them in your back pocket and of you go. If you get a bit lost, so what, someone in the group will help out, and I doubt if anyone would dare to complain. If my mobility scooter was a bit fas...

Went to aunty Rita's last Sunday with Pat & Ken, and although there seemed to only be 8 or 10 bikes there plus a few locals, could not get in.
So Sunday club runs will always be pot luck. But always worth giving them a try. Any problems then the Vale golf club is only 3 or 4 miles further on.

Rode the Solihull audax last Sunday and was a bit surprised that I was the only Beacon rider. A good route and free refreshments at the start, finish and at the control at Kineton. Feeling a little happier with Jet2 now.. The flights to and from Mallorca were, in terms of the service they provide superb. Everyone was so helpful and probably one of my best ever experience. Went to a new cafe today (Moorlands Farm Fisheries) near Whitlenge. Food was good, service good and not expensive. However, and the main point of this post, we met Snogger Morris. Hi Dave. I am working hard at the moment trying to get a bit of speed back|

I think that part of the problem is that motorists take the view that it is "their" road not to be shared with cyclists. Which of course is not the case. Often when I speak to non cyclists the question of not paying road tax is also used as an argument for keeping cyclists of the road. Riding 2 abre...
