Re: BEACON TO HOST CROSS EVENT 2021/2 SEASON

I’m so excited by this and I’d urge absolutely everyone to help out if at all possible. The atmosphere at the Cross races is super friendly and the nature of the courses usually means it’s great for the spectators as well as the riders. Can’t wait, fingers crossed 🤞

Oscar, that’s such a wonderful thing to have done. The Beacon, I’m sure, means and has meant a great deal to many people since those founder members kicked it all off.

Cyclocross Training

High everyone. It's about time I started to get my cyclocross legs out the cupboard so wondered if anyone would like to join me. It would be good to make the most of the light evenings and Highbury Park in Kingsheath , as I've mentioned before, is a great place to train. I have a loop which hopefull...

I'd love to do this but the dodgy hand isn't quite up to the rigours of cyclocross just yet.
As we move further into the summer and the evenings get longer I'm hoping to start some regular 'cross training at Highbury park on Tuesday evening.
I'll post more later.

I saw the Beacon gazebo at the Redditch 'Cross, it was deserted although I felt justified in leaving my water bottle in it during the race.
