Beacon Kit during Races

I've had a message passed to me from a fellow commisaire (Colin Hackles and verified by Carl Robinson) regarding Beacon members wearing the black kit.

As the Red, White and Green Jersey is the one registered with BC, The black jersey must not be worn during races !

West Midlands Youth League - Wyre Forrest at Stourport

+1 for Koolstop,
I took the shimano off on advice of Mr Weaver after the night ride we did, even in the dark he knew I was using shimano from the sound.
On inspection after removal, sure enough , metal filings in the pad.

The estate I've just moved to already has tragic calming measures (speed bumps) and a 20mph speed limit after a young child was killed. The speed bumps every 100 yards are not good for cycling over.

Stem Size: 80mm Vs 90mm

Hi all, When I had a custom fitting at bikedynamics Mike replaced the stem with a 90mm one, He said 80mm would of been better but would make the handling too twitchy. The Pinarello I've just bought has a 120mm stem which is far too long for me, so I'm going to replace it with a shorter one. Does any...
