Beacon Kit during Races
I've had a message passed to me from a fellow commisaire (Colin Hackles and verified by Carl Robinson) regarding Beacon members wearing the black kit.
As the Red, White and Green Jersey is the one registered with BC, The black jersey must not be worn during races !

West Midlands Youth League - Wyre Forrest at Stourport

They've just posted the results,
http://www.mylaps.com/en/classification/3556371
I didn't think that bike could go 15mph !
No gears and is really heavy with big tyres, how fast is she going to be on a proper racing bike ? Oh and she's 8 !

Thursday Night Rides
A couple of years ago Andy Nott, Chris Robertson and Myself used to what can only be described as a training ride to get people from Intro ride to C and even B ride pace, It was a fast as the slowest person, some weeks 10 mph the next it could be 17mph average for the 25 miles. We used to start from...

Stem Size: 80mm Vs 90mm
Hi all, When I had a custom fitting at bikedynamics Mike replaced the stem with a 90mm one, He said 80mm would of been better but would make the handling too twitchy. The Pinarello I've just bought has a 120mm stem which is far too long for me, so I'm going to replace it with a shorter one. Does any...

I had a fitting at Bikedynamics after back issue's and getting cramp after moving the seat. I would of highly recommended it but his prices seem to have risen sharply (I think its gone up £25)and when i contacted him about sizing of the frame before I booked another fit i was told "I haven't got tim...

Phoned by Evans this morning and put on the spot, so decided on the specialized. It has to be purchased through Evans as part of it is being paid for by Ride2work scheme and the company I work for use them, otherwise i'd much rather use Bicicielo. I'm still not sure if i've made the right choice, Ca...

New Bike: Pinarello FP Due vs Specialized Tarmac Elite
New bike time ! I ordered a Pinarello FP DUE which was delivered to Evans on Thursday, but they discovered a crack in the carbon and its going to take 10 days to get a replacement, but in the meantime I cant help but think I'd be better off with a Spcialized Tarmac Elite. I've been put of the Pinare...

Driving rain (got soaked, dried out then soaked for a second time) and strong winds really slowed us down, had some real fun though, Andy Nott’s great water proof trousers were so good it didn’t start raining till he took then off !
