Re: Cycling Shoes (Male or Female) - Wanted

As part of my downsizing prior to house move I found 6 pairs of new boxed size 39 shoes,at least 3 of which are Look compatible. After advertising them for free on collection and getting no replies, last week I gave them to a local cycle cafe whose owner intends to put them on his facebook site for a...

K8 10T

In the 1960s this course was used for Worcestershire CA 10s and 15s.I see that there is a currently approved club 10 course, straight out and back with an island turn.Yet no events are held on it.Is there a reason why it is not used? It seems to me that it reasonably near to Beacon area,is simple to ...

Brings back memories! In 1972 Colin Purdy won the Bec,I was 3rd and Dave Sinar 7th to win the team.I was 2nd in the Catford and won the Bec in 1971. In those days Colin and I with any of Dave Sinar,Pete Ruff,or Steve Jones won quite a number of hill climbs. We also had an interclub hill climb with 5...

A remarkable ride by the winner. The previous record holder (Colin Purdy 3-6.8) went on that year to 4th place in the Nat Champs H/C despite forgetting to tighten his chainring bolts after changing chainrings at the HQ and finishing with bolts catching on the chainstays and probably losing the 2 seco...

You might like to look on the CTT website for Guidance notes for Timekeepers. Play with the watch(es) before the event to make sure you know how not to inadvertently stop the watch rather than the lap timer.Take more than one writing implement with you.Try to get a recorder to record the numbers of ...
