I'd favour a 10 over a 25, given this one's 9 miles long.

Thanks Simon. That 39:29 included a mechanical! My best time was 37:13 I think, from 2012, which of course doesn't count here.

The toughest part was getting there, straight into that headwind! The ride itself wasn't too bad, as the only open bit is up the A435 where it was a lovely tailwind. Luckily the rain held off. Although I also noticed that Rich Bussell has a handicap of -0.46 when it should be -0.06 if he did a 2:54 (IIRC) last year? Sorry to be a pain!

I did the hill climb last year so why am I on the standard handicap? (My 2012 time is probably the one that counts, too.)

How exactly is the handicap worked out? Not sure I can tell from the above post. Is it a combination of age and other factors? LMTT just entered. Will be delighted with anything under 2hr34 and a slight improvement on last years weather!
