Re: Majorca trip

I've been a few times (alone or in a group) and am going again mid-May. Port de Pollensa around April/May or October is good; lots of good quality roads and cycle lanes. Some of the roads can get busy though (especially towards the Formentor lighthouse). Bike hire around 120-150 Euros for a week see...

Hi Stuart

Thanks for doing this. Unfortunately, whilst I could do with a replacement pair of Beacon bibshorts, £75 is just too expensive for me to justify.

Hi all

I think my handicap time should be 47 minutes, as it was my first 20-miler.

Thanks

The toughest part was getting there, straight into that headwind! The ride itself wasn't too bad, as the only open bit is up the A435 where it was a lovely tailwind. Luckily the rain held off. Falling off as I dismounted on arrival (crosswind on the bridge didn't help), then having to fix a sticky b...

OK so all riders start with a base time, which for this TT was 20 minutes. If you have ridden on the course before and set a PB (in the last 3 seasons) of e.g. 25:00 you ge...
