I don't know about that George, I set a PB by well over 2 minutes but it was only my 2nd 25mile TT & the first was on this course on a windy day in May. Well done on the PB Martin - great ride! btw you asked in passing about how old you had to be to be eligible to join the VTTA (after I was given a...

Well done guys
I decided to travel via redditch for this event - and got caught in an horrendous queue for the Studley Car Boot Sale. Consequently I was late and didn't start in my original slot. I went off at number 36. Unfortunately I didn't pick my time up at the end (I do know it was slow though!). The course ...

NOTE: on the club web-site page for the TT calendar, it lists races for 2013 but has a title date of 2012 at the top.

Well done, Steve. Where was the course? (Southam swim was 4 lengths x 4 lanes too, and you counted your own lengths) Thanks Andy, it was around Stratford on Avon: pool at Stratford Leisure and Visitor Centre, Bridgefoot, Stratford-upon-Avon. And yes, we counted our own lengths too. Up to 4 is diffi...

Well. it was a bit windy - but at least it didn't rain! Interesting pool swim in that you swam 4 lengths in 1 lane, ducked under the rope, swam 4 in the next and then under the rope for 4 more in the final lane. I took it steady. Cycle course was fairly flat with one long drag in there. Pleased that...

600m pool swim 26 mile cycle (with a couple of challenging hills) 10k flat out and back run. Not the easiest of cycle courses so I was pleased with my time of 01:32:04 for the cycle. Just pipped my younger brother with this :) but he beat me overall by 3 seconds - mainly due to quicker transitions. ...

Slippy when wet!
It did sting when I had a shower I have to say! I checked the r/b I came off at - it was actually the one off which Appletree Lane runs. Apart from the fall, an enjoyable ride! (but how come it's uphill going out AND uphill coming back? )
