Re: Solihull No Frills 2/3/4

I may be at some, "taking part" might be over optimistic though as done nothing since the woolly mamils! Very different to Stourport, shorter and can go round without braking. Will start quick and settle down after 15 mins so if can stay in front half you will be ok. The 3/4 weeks are obviously norm...

Great effort on putting these on and the two coaching sessions at Easter Ade. I'm away at Easter but hope my kids will be able to take part in these other two at Rowheath so will lend a hand on the day. Fingers crossed the storage at Rowheath gets sorted finally as will make this so much easier to r...

It's also about whether you want to do well and not be scared of going fast! So as much track bike and track experience as possible I'd say. If it ends up you can't get any just do the pursuit.

Sunday 9th June is the Birmingham British Cycling closed road Let's Ride event. Perfect opportunity to do a super intro/family ride straight down the A38 and use the new segregated bike lane (which is to be finished in May, only delivered 5months late by Amey!) and enjoy the closed roads in the city...

Would be great if someone took the youth kit off me and decided if we needed any more buying. I believe Clare Grice has some youth kit too so if someone could get from her to add to the club stock (I have currently). A good move going back to Giordano I feel, well done Stu on persevering with this. ...

Same as first, not on the pace. Dropped at ten mins when there was a big attack that split the field in three. Brutal wind although no excuse as didn't slow the rest down! Was aiming to peak this week though so got 5 days to make that happen!

Anyone willing to race, I'd say focus on that, as numbers are normally low and there's lots of trophies up for grabs. If you just want to just do the pursuit though that's fine but still need some track/fixed experience. You planning to do any of the Friday night track league Jamie?

Not sure the roundabout design is to speed up traffic as the whole section between Northfield and Rubery is getting a new 30mph speed limit (sure adherence will be 100%!).
