Andy, see my post under "no frills...". Circuit racing is full on high intensity speed intervals but it is a case of give it a go and sink or swim or swim for as long as you can and chances are there will be others that go off the back first. You do need to be able to average a certain pace though o...

Birm uni race tomorrow would have been perfect follow up to try and ge...

Did it. Was completely out of my depth but still loved it. Think finished 3rd from last (of finishers). A 2/3/4 Cat Race is probably not an ideal first race of the season (and 2nd race ever). Think there were 4 or 5 other cat 4s and rest of field were cat2s and 3s. Started crazy fast and I went out ...

Thanks Andy & Charles.

I didn't know what to expect after last year's conditions so I'm really happy. Well done to all who raced, I'm truly amazed at all the sub 2hr times on road bikes.

Some great pics there, but please delete the one of me stretching at the start, looks v wrong!

However, if you want to keep it at 2hrs32, I will look forward to taking the £30 next year for best PB when I go s...

Ive entered this cat 4 race on Saturday. 9 places left. Should be interesting for my first race.
