I'll lead another B run paced Beacon Burst this weekend.
It will be around 45 miles again but this time it will be a fair bit hillier.

Gemma was unable to make the ride, but the rest of did: Phil Gameson (Leader) Richard Leaper George Garvie Harri Evans Tom Hodgkisson Light rain to start with, which quickly petered out. Not bad for the time of year, but not really siting outside a cafe weather. No incidents (good or bad) to report.

I'll lead a 45 mile fairly flat non stop "Beacon Burst" at a brisk B run speed leaving the Black Horse at 08:30 - remember the clocks go back, so you get an extra hour in bed!

I am not try to compete with Neil's ride, just offer a shorter and quicker alternative. We did well with the weather - a little bit of drizzle whilst we were at the Wyre Forest Visitor Centre, then dry overhead but a lot of wet roads on the return. I'll lead the B ride to the Wyre Forest Visitor Centre.
It will be based on my usual route of just under 55 miles. There is quite a lot of climbing in the first two thirds, with the last third being a gentle climb back to Birmingham!
