It's actually pretty unambiguous on this point: "You can now exercise alone, with members of your household, or with up to 5 other people from outside your household. Up to two households are permitted to gather in groups of more than 6...

Phil, the committee discussed this issue on line a few days ago. Although CUK are now saying that up to fifteen is okay, BC continue to advise limiting group rides to six. Neil, I called in at Upton Marina a month or six weeks back and was amazed at how little they were doing to enable the maintenance of social distance. Of course, it's your call, but I just thought I'd mention it, in case that might concern you or others on the ride.

That cut isn't very big. Therefore, if it's not at/close to the contact point with the rim, it'll probably be fine with a 'boot' glued on the inside. I haven't visited Cob House recently, but I have been to other places where they were keeping records for tracing purposes. In most cases, if someone has pre-booked a table and left their details at the time of booking, that is sufficient for the whole group.
