This week's B and/or C ride will hopefully be both a retro rally and a substitute for last week's rained-off 100-in-however-long. Notes: 1. The retro rally aspect is weather-dependent, insofar as I will not ride my retro bike if the forecast is dire. At the moment, the forecast is sunshine and showe...

I'll do a 'retro run' on 4 August. This ride is likely to defy classification. Pace will depend on who's interested in coming (B or C or in between). Distance likewise. I have it in mind to do 100 miles myself (with 2 café stops). We might all do that together, or we might, for example, pootle to ca...

Clearly, I shall have to review my approach to the use of deodorant. I may refloat it later in the year. This weekend will...

What do B runners want to do on 19/5?

I'm down to lead the B run on 19 May. I fancy doing something a bit different, i.e. a hundred-in-eightish. That would be 160km (100mi) at roughly 26kph (>16mph), implying >6 hours' riding, plus 2 stops = 8 hours BH to BH. However, there's no point in me leading such a ride if I'm (almost) the only o...
