Hi George, thanks for the reply, much appreciated.
I will bear this in mind and when I have a bit more info on what circumstances might be doing will catch up with you. Do you have any mapped out routes rather than Garmin? Or reccommended routes/climbs in that area?

Cycling in Tuscany
Hi guys, thinking about doing a weeks riding in Tuscany next year, may be one centre (Lucca) or perhaps two. Has anyone done any riding in this area with Garmin or mapped out routes?

Re: Diamond Buses
Hi guys, just to add to your posts. "Diamond Buses, while riding home on 4th July 2018 at 16:53 on the A38 (Bristol Road) I was passed by one of your buses which cut in front of me dangerously close, despite there being a free lane ahead which would allow the bus to pass me and then filter in safely...

Re: Club runs - 20th August
After the grand depart from the Black Horse of both A & B runs together the A run took up the initiative through Rednal on to Barnt Green, only for lead rider Neil Lynch to suffer a mechanical and abandon his ride. With Kevin Young stepping up to the plate, the group were ably led to Tewkesbury with...

Unfortunately Alan I've got tons of clips and tales of near misses riding in to B'ham most days. It has to be said that the standard of driving, respect for others road users and general care & attention is sadly poor. It seems that a lot of car drivers only see what's at the end of their bonnet and...

Thanks Phil for the intro. New venue so hopefully meets the grade. Black Horse-Black Hill-Black Horse approximately 60 miles. Riders will need locks as the coffee shop is towards back of centre, with bikes parked at the side. One short stretch on a dual carriageway to be navigated but filter lanes a...

Phil, put me down for an A run on 31st July, not led a ride so thought it was about time. New destination, Wyevale Garden Centre, Black Hill near Stratford Upon Avon, 60 miles BH to BH. Checked out today looks okay. Couple of short stints on main roads but has potential for alternatives routes in th...

Hi Alan, bought Schwalbe Durano 25mm on the advice from Epic cycles a couple of years back when doing C2C. Found them to be very good and continued to use through winter, especially after reading article suggesting that 25mm have less rolling resistance than 23mm due to less deformation. Definitely ...

Andy, feedback from friend who did the ride last year was that he and his wife went on the Saturday by train, tavelling light. Went from Warwick Parkway to Marylebone, rode to their hotel near Tower Bridge. Went across to ExCel to register (advised to go early). On the day, 5 mile ride down A11. Did...

Based on todays ride, can I put a suggestion forward to break the ride down into 25 miles segments rather than just one at 50 miles? And when I when breaks, I mean nothing more than a quick drink/food/wee stop, no longer than 1/4 hr tops? Alan, sounds like a good idea, based on recent ride to Abery...

Martin, thanks for the stir on practice run. Greg, hope to join club run around Cakebole Lane (08:45) if I have the direction right from map/cue sheet. Just another appeal, if anyone has a Beacon Jersey (S) which they would like to loan/sell for the Weston Ride, would be much appreciated.

The Weston Run
Hi all, new member, ridden out with Alan Weaver and group on a Saturday/Sunday. Weston run looks challenging & exciting so count me in. Based in Bromsgrove so Speeds @ 06:30 is ideal. Look forward to the ride, so long as the snow has gone by then!!!
