This is great, thanks Phil.

Bit of a noddy question, if you just ride one of these, do you get it validated somehow after?

Re: CycloX frame fitting

I am 6'0 and struggled with my 56cm CAAD10 which has found a home with Mr Egan.
I should have had a 58. Epic Cycles in Ludlow said I was in-between sizes and plumped for the wrong one.

This thread is about gear cables Andy, di2 is electronic shifting so no gear cables to fray.
Ah - I hadn't thought about the fact that it was an electronic wire not a traditional cable. My mistake.

105. I must admit the cable was 2 years old.....
Mine was probably the same age, but then I thought Venture Bikes had replaced them when it had a service a few months ago. It would appear not!

I took my Genesis Equilibrium round to Alan Weaver's tonight to try and diagnose the issues I was having with my rear derailleur. After us scratching our heads and realising it must be a cable issue, we peeled back the rubber hood of the shifter, and found the frayed cable mangled into the 105 shift...

Ditto here on the ice front really.

I don't have the luxury of studded tyres so will see what the forecast is like nearer Sunday. Not looking good at present; the forecast is currently -3C, so I imagine the lanes might well be dodgy, especially in shaded parts.

It could well have been a company car. It may also have been an Audi dealership, so they would deal with Audis all day, and feel no need to rip off someone for their choice of car. Based on your post, I can only assume you drive a Rover and get it serviced in the 1970s? I think Alan's point was that...

I have noticed the same thing, and also that some people drive round with no rear lights on. I shouted at some dozy woman in a Fiesta the other night to put her lights on, and then by the time I was closer to her car, the front ones were on, but not the back. I think the front ones were the LED dayt...
