LVRC National Omnium Champs

Congratulations Dave on your silver medal in the Omnium Championships. Outstanding effort over the six events, including a win in the scratch and winning the silver by a single point from two others. Seems like 2nd place and gaining a lap in the points race may have been crucial.
Good job mate.

Unfortunately knocked out in the semi final of the sprint after choosing the wrong tactic, but that's sprinting for you....

I took that B cat Unkown Distance race Adrian, do you remember it was a bit unusual in that we were mixed with the A cats due to the delay caused by the young girls fall It was good nights racing. It's been a while since the Beacon had an impact like this at Halesowen, and makes a nice change from W...

Mercia CC 25 K16 TT result

Richard B and Steve C on non aero 1950 Gillott tandem blasted around in 52m 59s. Won by Botteril on a 47. We had a bit of a tussle with a tandem trike going for comp record when they caught us for a minute at the turn but couldn't, corner as quick so we took a half minute back but lost I.5 mins by t...

Paramount Road Race report

Had the pleasure of watching this outstanding performance by Rich up close. Rosie and I saw (and videoed) the race 3 times on each of the seven laps, so could see the effectiveness and maturity of his ride. Early attacks into the wind on lap one began to shed riders and a break of five riders got aw...
