I have entered the Little Mountain TT via the CTT website. I just wondered whether there was a link to the rules for "roadman" entry - I remember it somewhere on the Beacon site but I can't find it. It depends on the course if a fixed gear is beneficiail.

With technological advances you can get incredibly like road bikes these days. A friend built on that weight 4.5kg!

My Scott Foil (aero frame) was sitting at < 7kg when I did the national hill climb and I don't have the lightest wheels.

I'd be in favour of more of these. I'm not so sure on the pace of them but the none-stop idea particularly appeals. There are some interesting suggestions here: most of my TTing has been down to the encouragement of Jess. For standard turn up and race crits the idea might work, but not as well for events you have to enter in advance (always my downfall!) It would be nice if we could use the official Facebook page...
