A small but perfectly formed B Run got to Halfpenny Green Airport without incident in time to meet up with George Barker. A hilly and windy ride to the cafe combined with the start of the snow and rain led to a slightly shortened return leg. Riders were: Rob Wade Phil Elwell Andy McGrath Dom (Domini...
B run to Halfpenny Green will be 57 miles with café stop at 32 miles. No big climbs put fairly constant bumps. I've been at the back of all recent club runs I've attended so pace will be well within club guidelines.

Phil, I could cover the A442 junction.
I can lead a B Run. Probably to Halfpenny Green Airport or somewhere in that direction. I'll post a route midweek. If any ice returns and it doesn't look sensible to ride I'll step aside and let Andy Wrightson lead again.
A run was a select group of 3. Rob Wade (leading) Ryan Evanson Joe Warwood Thanks Ryan & Joe for not making my 1st A run lead a solo and helping out on front. Somehow we suffered little more than a few minutes of light drizzle. Joe experienced a fall due to 2 other cyclists turning across our path w...
I can have a go at leading the A ride to Coalport although I've only rode a few A rides so not sure what pace I'll comfortably manage. I'd like to meet at 8:00 for an 8:15 start. If all the A riders are on the 500km I'll just have to do an hours worth of Northfield laps until the B run starts. I'll ...

A soggy but steady B run to Croome Park. Two flats, thanks to Phil & Kevin for helping (well, completing) mine. Unfortunately, Croome Park had ran out of bacon, the A run denied they'd had it all. Tomorrow's B run will be following one of the routes from the club database, http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/Be ... roome-Park
Looks like it will be a damp one.

The B run to Evesham was without incident. Route to café was initially a little damp and windy but pace was still faster than expected. Thanks all for the company. I'll take the B Run to Raphael's in Evesham. I'm shamelessly copying a previous route from last year (copied from John Soady's strava record, thanks).
Thanks everyone for your experience and opinions, very useful. Narrowed choice down to the Ksyrium Elite (£380 at Rose, inc 25mm tyres but mixed reviews on the tyres) or Shimano RS81 c24 (£308 at Rose). Both seem to be recommended so will probably be chosen by the scientific method of which I prefer...
Hi, anybody got any advice on possible choices for a wheel upgrade? Current stock wheels are Giant PSL1's alloy clinchers with a claimed weight of 1775g. During past couple of years have been pretty reliable but had a few issues last year so would like a 2nd set of wheels. Don't think I've got the b...

There wasn't much interest from those on the B run and I've since noticed that the Kiddi Killer Audax is only the weekend before, I'll never get a pass to do both so I'll withdraw my interest in RideLondon.
