Re: Sunday 13th June A Ride (Colliers, Clows Top) 08:45 Depart

Well, 08:45 didn't bring the 30c tarmac melting that we thought, but it had certainly warmed up by the late morning. A good route taking in Kinver and Clows Top climbs as well as a few lumps out over Stourport and a drag up Twatling back to the Black Horse. Only x2 on the ride, but we were joined by...

Hi Michelle, average speed for A runs is usually 18mph (I think). I would have a check with Andy W and he can give you a better response for pace, but you are more than welcome along:-) Just let me know.

Sunday 13th June A Ride (Colliers, Clows Top) 08:45 Depart

Its been a while since I lead a ride so felt like I should step up. The plan is to follow the Mad Mare Hare route, with a stop at Colliers on the Top of Clows Top. I will have a fiddle with the route later today, but it should be roughly like this, with a 08:45 departure from the Black Horse: https:...

Looks like a great route, and would work well for a club run with stops at Wellesbourne or Stratford. Just a quick note that the route around Lowsonsford (27k) attempts to take you off onto tracks via Mill Lane, as well as just after High Cross. Stick with the main roads and all will be fine!
