Pro Vibe Seatpost/Clamp

Bit of a stretch but struggling with this one...anyone have a Pro Vibe 1 bolt seatpost with the standard rail (7x7mm) clamp attached? I picked one up from a friend and it annoyingly only has the 7x9mm carbon rail clamp which I can't use. Its proving difficult to find a replacement and I just want to...

Re: New Kit Order Poll

Thanks for organising this Stu! 'bout time I replaced my pin-holed jersey and wafer thin shorts for the sake of anyone riding near me  Hi Mariana, the two jersey styles are aimed at different things. The £52 Virtus jersey is a fairly relaxed fit (for cycling kit...) with very breathable fabric...

170mm GXP Crank

Hi,

Potentially a long shot but... Does anyone happen to have any 170mm long 110bcd cranks which use a Sram GXP bottom bracket? Not bothered about spec and don't have to be in the finest condition, going off road anyways!

Cheers,

Re: Cycling research

Hi Rebecca,

I realise this might be a little difficult given current circumstances but I'd be down for taking part in the study when possible. I've changed crank length a lot over the last couple of seasons so interested in the research area!

Best wishes,

Matt

4 Bolt Shimano Chainrings (5800/6800)

Anyone got any 4 bolt 110bcd Shimano chainrings for 105 (5800) or Ultegra (6800) lying around? Don't mind too much about ratios, ideally 52/36 but happy with 50/34 or 53/39 as well. Simply for a cranklength test for bike fitting purposes... Cheers :)

Hi everyone, groetjes uit Nederland! I hope you're all well and racing is successful! Just wondering if anyone else will be doing any of the following: - Stourport Summer Series (Tuesday nights) - https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/events/?series_id=446 - Mallory Park RR League (most Thursdays until ...

Re: Road/circuit race reports 2017

Hi guys, apologies for this report being over a week since the race; moving to another country has kept me rather busy! Leicester Castle Classic E/1/2 - National A – HSBC UK Grand Prix Series Final Round – 13th August 2017 94 starters, course is 2-3m wide most of the way around  Brutally fast...

Re: Road/circuit race reports 2017

Hope you heal up soon Dave! Got a report from the Mallory Park 3rd Cat crit last Thursday: A near full field of around 60 graced the revised finish line atop the hill of the famous motor racing circuit. It was warm, dry and we had been promised clear skies until at least sundown; how we had been dec...

Aiming for 40+ points for 2nd Cat, then would ATTEMPT some E/1/2 races so I sincerely doubt there'd be any more points from me I'm afraid... :)

Despite some chilly fog in places, I'm afraid Phil that today's A run was not cold enough to bring out the likes of Ernest Shackleton or Robert Falcon-Scott. Although, thankfully we all made it back from our brisk expedition (non-polar, have to concede that to the real explorers...) The 10 intrepid ...

Hi Phil, Beacon Burst will be a 42 mile route I've ridden quite a bit in the past. I always found it good fun as it's got some nice fast roads which should encourage working as a group as well as some decent climbs for a bit of a test. Should be interesting for those of us who have ridden the Derby ...

I don't recall this! When was that Tim??? To be fair to Stourport, it is a great circuit. My first few races were there and I loved it, great corners, draggy uphill finish. I've just seen a lot of scary riding in the Wooly Mamils, but that could be from myself according to Tim!! :D

Not currently planning on doing Wooly Mamils, been scared off them! Will start racing March, UoB Stage race likely to be first one. Would definitely be up for racing West Mids RRL with you Stu, good experience regardless of where I come. Will try and fit as much racing in as I can over in Leicester....

Hi Tim, I'm down for this. Been trying for weeks and weeks to get some sessions at Derby for the Leicester Uni bunch, to no avail. Like a few others, I'm not accredited which is annoying as would very much like to race Derby track league in January. Will be back from uni mid December and will be pre...

Tim, been looking into "Everesting Rose Hill". As mad as it may sound, I am well up for this!! :D Maybe even get some sponsorship going? Probably not very safe to do the steep side but the shallow side looks a good bet and easier on the brakes. Average of 4% and a 452ft elevation gain means it needs...

Sunrise Express - Anyone cycling to event?

Just wondering who is cycling to the Audaxes and if people are going down as a group or individually?
