Re: Power meter training

Don't worry about L/R balance too much, both because a few systems don't actually measure it accurately enough and also because unless you're subject to injury or as part of a rehab program there will always be natural imbalance that an artificial attempt to rectify could cause injury later on. Depe...

Hi Dave - I'm not able to help marshal this year but would like to donate a couple of brand new AeroCoach saddles to add to the prize fund if that's of additional help (fastest male and female juniors preferred!)

Halesowen is normally £40 an hour but if you've signed your club up to track league (like Beacon and AeroCoach) then it's £20/hr which is pretty good. Andy Burns from Halesowen is the guy in charge of it, I've booked a few Sundays recently for various things and if it rains and you can't ride then y...

Gavin - does that have to be indoor or outdoor? As you could quickly get 6 sessions in if outdoor and would be far quicker than doing all of them indoor?

I don't know about that ;)

If Beacon needs help for the annual open TT on K33/10D then AeroCoach will sponsor prizes and I can ask our local riders if they'd be able to marshal too.

I'm happy to help out in whatever way would be useful too, especially if that means booking time at Newport etc. as I can sort external coaches there for you very easily (using the coaches that work at AeroCoach sessions). FWIW Halesowen bookings are best done on a Sunday afternoon as they don't hav...

Hi Chris - I know I'd said I'd be able to help do the club 10 champs on the 6th July but I'm working that day now and not sure I'll be back in time.

I'll make sure AeroCoach has a few prizes for you to dish out on the day though.

Many thanks to Jess for her unusual A run. I can see that Phil R and I have contest for finding obscure routes to the cafe. Really enjoyed it! The cafe was great value and they coped well with the group. For a sausage roll, cake and tea, Cleobury Cafe only charged £3.50. Xavier Disley deserves an e...

Early season time trials

Hi everyone - for those who are interested I (AeroCoach) will be running two 10 mile TTs in February on the K34/10D (Beacon Club champs course) on the 21st and 28th, 10am start. The course is here: https://www.strava.com/segments/4549609?filter=overall It's a simple quiet out and back course, with o...

You can bet on Paddy Power if you're that way inclined, also doing E/W which is definitely worth a go:
