Monday 22nd - post work cycle anyone?

Anyone up for a post work ride Monday evening? 2-3 hours?

I don't have a route in mind or overall pace, but aiming around A pace (not the burst) but happy to adjust accordingly.

Open to suggestions as still don't know the area that well!

Hi Adrian,

More than willing to lend a hand too.

I'd probably only get myself in trouble if i actually raced, so rather be safe than sorry!

Solihull No Frills 2/3/4

The plan, (work allowing) is to do this every week, is anyone else going to be taking part at all?

Also, i haven't been to Tudor Grange yet, any advice?

Re: WWCC Two Counties Road Race 2019

I did this today (well, until I got dropped on Bromley Bank - it's a shame they didn't change it to the Bobbington course like they originally planned!). What happened to you, Jamie? Unfortunately my lift decided to cancel on me on Saturday, and i couldn't arrange another! shame as i was quite look...

Sounds great fun! Easier said than done sometimes not to start at the back as everyone is thinking same! See you Saturday, hopefully it will be on. Always gone ahead previously although think one year they just used half the track as ice at far end! Hello mate! how did you get on? I got caught up i...

Re: Crit Race Practice...Sundays...

I wasn't really in it to be honest. I got stuck at the back when lining up for the race. (idiot) So by the time i had worked my way up to about 15th i had half a lap gap between me and the chasing pack... i decided to give chase for about 25 minutes, i dropped the guys on my wheel but never got clos...

Hi Pete, Do you know if they are accepting entries as of yet? I can't see anything on the British cycling website (i know its early). Outside of a bit of negotiating with work hours wise, more than up for this. Should be soon. The cross season has now pretty much finished and it's the same people o...

Re: Crit Race Practice...Sundays...

Yea i'm signed up to all of them, going in with the mentality of racing myself fit. Plus, (begin the excuses) this is the first crit track i've been on where you have to touch the brakes! a strange sensation but something to work on! That kid who shot off at the start (and won) literally decimated t...

Do you know if they are accepting entries as of yet? I can't see anything on the British cycling website (i know its early). I think entries to the league opened around late February last year. Crit Race Practice...Sundays...

Hi All, following on from our woolly Mammal race 1 experience, i think its clear we need some practice. Just an idea, is anyone interested in doing a "shorter" but "Crit race paced" ride on a sunday? i know its the day after racing, but it could be something beneficial to the club going into the sum...
