Re: Club Runs - 20th October

B Run ended as a lovely run to Charlecote and a slightly truncated route home. Shouts out to IronMargaret for demonstrating that endurance athletes may be steadier at the start, but they just keep on going; and Kamran for showing how getting a bit carried away at the start of a ride can cost you lat...

B Ride Tomorrow

I might be a few minutes late tomorrow as I am shepherding a cyclist from New Street to join us, but will definitely get there as soon as I can.

Re: Club Runs - 20th October

Edited with route - I'll take a B ride, published speeds, on an approximation of this 101km/63mi route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/31329831 Cafe will either be Charlecote at 48km/30mi or The Pantry in Stratford at 57km/35mi depending on numbers and preferences. Depending on group/weather there a...

Re: Club Runs - 21st July

There has been some interest in a longer ride next Sunday There's a C ride 100 planned for next Sunday, similar pace and route to last year. At 15 mph, yours can be the B ride. Ah! Fantastic! Geoff mentioned there is normally a C-100 but thought it was later in the year. Will see how things pan out...

Re: Club Runs - 21st July

Fabulous morning for a delightful post-KK B/C leg stretcher to Yew Tree Farm via Great Alne and Aston Cantlow. Great working together by the team up the one hill (and few 'elevation corrections'). Cafe was packed with cyclists, which meant poor Dave had to rather scoff his scone (or is that scone?) ...

Re: Club runs - 16th June

Great job in the small put perfectly formed A-ish A/B (so the guys told me!) visit to the Edgehill vintage motorcycle convention. Team pulled together really well, especially when the lunatic who had done 20+ miles before the Club Ride started to get a bit fatigued. Simon White (leading) John Soady ...

Happy to take a B ride to Arley Arboretum if Simon (White) doesn't make it.
Thanks Matt - much appreciated. I won't panic now.

Re: Club runs - 16th June

Sorry people - family emergency means it is unlikely I will be cycling tomorrow. If I do get back to Brum I will be there, but it feels unlikely at the moment.

Re: Club runs - 16th June

I was planning 80 miles at around (certainly not much in excess of) 16mph on Sunday to Edgehill and back, probably stopping either in Kineton, Wellesbourne or Charlecote tbc. I am very happy to start from the Black Horse (0900 for 0915) and call it a club ride if that suits. Might also grab a couple...

On the LVRC Tommy Godwin Memorial RR C (yes, we were genuinely mistaken by photographers and marshals for a road race bunch) were: Simon White (leading) Simon Woodward Cedric Gioan Noel O'Dwyer Andy Terry Dave Little Mel Kavanagh Adrian McHugh Huan Dong Geoff Mann Finbarr Costigan Pete Norman Tom Ja...

Re: Club runs - 2nd June

I'm happy to take a 50mile not-A following familiar roads towards Lowsonford with a stop at Wootton Wawen. 0900 for 0915 as usual.

I don't mind whether it's a B or C pace, just be happy for steady company.

The A ride should be about 60miles hopefully back by 2.00pm if that helps.
Cheers! Might be cutting it a bit fine this time.

Re: Club Runs - 30th December

Hi guys, Directed here from FriendFace - can any of the ride leaders give me an idea of the rough eta back to Northfield for A or B rides, accounting for speed and stop. I realise there's a bit of 'how long is a piece of strong' but I'm thinking of joining you if the times work. If not, there will b...
