I used a Rolls saddle once and it didn't last long. I currently use a Specialized Romin (the base model) which works for me, this is after a reasonably long process of trial and error with various costly saddles.

Ultegra hubs laced to mavic open pro rims with DT swiss spokes. 32h. bombproof and hugely popular for reliability. hope hubs are also pretty damn tough, those lot know a thing or two about making hubs

i say conventional/non-conventional instead of clockwise/anti-clockwise because this depends on whether you have an english threaded frame or an italian threaded frame. on my english threaded frame the right hand cup (drive side) is anti-clockwise to tighten and the left hand cup is clockwise to tig...

non drive side cup is conventional thread, drive side is non conventional.
the opposite to pedal threads, i believe.

the bontrager hardcases are pretty tough. we cut a section of one and to show the kevlar strip to customers which so far i haven't been able to stap through with a papaerclip

FSA, BBB, Cane Creek, M:Part, Tifosi, Ritchey, Ambrosio, Crank Brothers, Miche, Cinelli, Hope and Chris King (to name a few) all make various types of headsets. surely the LBS would be able to find several that would fit

i have the toupe, the avatar's racier cousin. a brilliant saddle. deffinetly get your sit bones measured. Bontrager also do a sit bone measury thing so trek and specialized dealers should have them, but its probably worth phoneing first to make sure.
Red Kite has them, i know that much :wink:
