It's also worth remembering Paul Johnson's 400km club run scheduled for this month! So you can all have a go.

I have prostatitis and as a consequence, no cycling for eight weeks, so won't be riding. That's my story and I am sticking to it, which is literally a pain in the bum!

This is the route of the 178kms circumcision of Birmingham ride. This will start at 08:15, and will have two café stops, one at Polesworth (61kms or 38miles), and the other at Brewood (122kms or 76miles). Excellent sizeable cafe with fantastic coffee, cakes and breakfast items. Highly recommended. Despite its size, it is popular and I would reccommend an 8:15 start to arrive before other cycling clubs.

If you are going to Auntea Ritas at Flyford Flavell note that they now only allow 10 cyclists on the premises at any one time. Today they were turning cyclists away including a lone female cyclist.

I'll do the B Run assuming that I don't experience a wheel failure again. Destination: Croome Park. Out via Tardebigge; return via Crutch Lane.

Happy to lead a joint A/B run providing if no A leader is forthcoming but the pace will be at B pace. My legs are too sluggish to go any faster.

I would have thought that a Trevor Jarvis bike would a wonderful item for any collector of classic bikes.

I remember meeting Trevor at Burford Country House near Tenbury and had a long chat about his famous Flying Gate frames. I believe that the business under a the auspices of a new owner.

Many thanks Neil for being a last minute substitute. I had a stuffed tyre on my way in this morning. So had to limp back to Drayton. It did however provide an opportunity and time for a complete post-winter bike strip down.

Just a quick note to mention that the postponed Mad March Hare has been scheduled for the same day. I doubt it will distract entrants to the LMTT but it may produce a deficit in terms of helpers. :(
