If anyone fancies a non-burst club run, I'll be joining the B burst at Tardebigge and peeling off at some point to Worcester Woods for a cafe stop, then back via Droitwich, Shenton's Hedge and Fairfield.

We also have an intro ride to Akamba so if you know anyone who would like to try cycling with the Beacon, let them know it's on. It's a 30 mile round trip to a very different cafe, offering a great cake selection on top of all its other attractions.

Amazing how much difference a decent fan makes to comfort and performance on a turbo. I got an 18" high velocity floor fan from Screwfix. Only ever used the lowest setting. Like Pete says. Detach the files from the e-mail. Plug in the Garmin and copy the GPX files into the Garmin/NewFiles folder. When you unplug the Garmin, your Courses will be created automatically.

GPS Track Editor (free) is good for viewing GPX files.

And ... if you look at 12 best times for a club the Beacon comes in at 24th out of 118. No surprise, I suppose, that the big London clubs dominate - Dulwich, Kingston, Twickenham, Islington etc. By this broad measure, Beacon is top Midlands club in this event by a long way.
