Is anyone who is going by car taking any WD40 or similar? Because the weather forecast for tomorrow looks pretty miserable, and I can't easily take water dispersing lube in my jersey pocket, and my bag has already travelled. So if I could scrounge a few squirts off someone, I would be very grateful.

Thanks, Simon. I expect I'll find someone, even if I have to resort to direct badgering in the final 36 hours. You only need one person to lead, really, but having two people has two advantages: it improves communication and it gives you options if someone is struggling.
