Andy, George took the B run on 17th April. Here are his comments prior to the ride: I dropped by at Spetchley to make sure that they are happy to receive us on Sunday. They are, but the café has changed hands/operators over the winter. As always seems to happen in such circumstances, they have gone ...

I'm unlikely to be on a club run for a few weeks, so can transfer you the money if you want to PM me some details, or I can sort it out next time I see ...

Let me know anytime you're interested Tim.

Not too far from the start of this years L'etape du Tour and very close to some of the TdF stages too! I might be booking myself in for that weekend - haven't yet decided though!

Time Megeve - Mont Blanc sportif also runs annually from nearby Megeve

Certainly did Alan, although after I'd left the group at Charlecote, I rode on to Hidcote Manor Gardens to check out their box hedges ... very nice indeed - maybe a future club run destination?? (National trust cafe prices though) :)

I'll take the A run to Edge Hill on 20th Sept, looping back to Kineton for the cafe stop at 'The coffee shop'. Route based on the one Paul Johnson used for the B run on 30th August - thanks Paul! Update... Instead of returning to Kineton for the cafe stop, I might head onto the National Herb centre....

Cheers Phil, good ride today - I think you might have tipped off the cafe about the consequences of slow service and any potential repeat business...much quicker than the riverside cafe! A grand day out...highlights for me were cycling through London on traffic free roads and the support along the route - fantastic! The weather helped of course and there was a real 'festival' atmosphere at the finish zone in Green Park. I was cycling in Beacon colours, but wasn't aware of anyone who...

It seems to work for most clubs, although not sure it would work for all eg 'Solihull CC'...don't hear anyone referring to them as 'The Solihull'

Just the Hills of Cheshire Audax (Congleton CC) - 1st June

Hi,

Just wondered if anyone has ever ridden this event...or has entered? There is a longer one - 200km, and a flatter one, but thinking of signing up to the 110km hilly route.
