I don't think Andy (C) meant that club runs always go south, so much as they never go directly north, which is presumably because of the difficulty and annoyance of getting through Birmingham. Andy, have you tried to register and pay? Tried a few times and not sure if the problem is at my end as web can't find the registration page! Just went on the site and managed to pay first time for my entry. If you still have problems then maybe try a different browser, I used Safari if that helps.

I have a 500 however I do think the Garmin products are different class to the others. Ease of use is a big factor.

If I was in your position I would get the 800 but upto you.
