Can't see any of the suggestions being objectionable. A Lantern Rouge is probably better off on a C or intro ride, I've not seen a need for it on an A or B run, although it can be a problem sometimes when people drop off the back without letting the group know to ease up. I can only think of a few o...

Today's A run was very sparse... James Tate (L) Matt Clegg ...and that was it, just the two of us. It ended up being a full 100 miles with 2500m of climbing, so not an overly easy day and poor Matt was feeling it towards t he end. I think the LEJOG was finally catching up with him, but we made it ho...

Not sure why Les has the impression that the sport is dead in the UK. My own observation is quite the opposite in fact. Every race series, one off race , CX series and TT I've entered has been fully subscribed with often a long list of reserves. Far from being in decline the sport is the strongest i...

Thanks all. As I said earlier, I didn't want this to sound like sour grapes and definitely did not want to offer anything other than congratulations to Simon and Martin for those excellent times. And add appreciation to Patch et al for their efforts over the season. But last night, after a long day...

A Run to RAF Cosford, pretty uneventful apart from the utter soaking on the way out. We managed to avoid any repeat precipitation all the way home. Slight grumbles about the lack of hot food at the RAF cafe, didn't have food on until 12, but they did have a doorstop like lump of greasy sausage roll ...

Not convinced that is fair TBH, as I've not ridden this course before. For example Martin has a PB of 22:31 and rode 23:40 I have a PB of 23:12 and rode a 23:57 Therefore Martin came further outside his PB than I did, but he's ridden this course before and I've not....however I've received more of a...

Rob, I've got a current set of Ksyrium SLR's which are excellent and very smooth. I've also used the last generation of C24 (10s only) which were also amazing. If weight reduction is your thing then the kysriums are very good for the cost. Pretty bomb proof as far as I can see, and lots of people sw...

That was good fun! The old one two with James Tate my personal highlight Well done everyone Yeah shame we couldn't make it stick!! You can always setup another "bike" on the garmin specifically for the turbo if needed. Ie Auto for turbo but manual for road, that's what i do. all my garmin 'bikes' have manual wheel entries as the roadbike is very different to the cx and I've found the auto to be a little off. It only matters if ...
