Hi Gav, we sent feedback to them and they’ve responded. There’s a few tweaks they’re going to make and we’ve sent them a giordana jersey to make sure things like colour, font and positioning are sorted. I’ll chase again for an update and let you know.

Just to note that entry for the 2018 HONC opens at 7am on 6th January. Link (hopefully) below.

That was everything I hoped it would be and nothing that I feared it could be. Very respectful and touching, almost without exception motorists seemed to know what was going on and pulled over and waited respectfully even when there wasn't a police motorcyclist in their face. Agreed Helen and Steve. Not the time for protest or directing blame although hard not to be angry and want to aim that towards someone. I think high numbers on the ride is a show of protest and demand for action enough. Yeah - I just always hope there isn't a militant faction at these type of event...

Tim - if I'm not lucky enough to get entry next year, I think a beacon fan zone would be great! Somewhere to meet up with other beaconites and cheer on the riders (needs to be near facilities though...! :oops: :D )

There's also two races that are done at Cannock. The spring series and the summer series.
I was hoping to do both this year as an intro to XC racing, but had a crash before the first and a clash with the second! It might be worth having a look at those?

Go on then - I'll lead a C run on Sunday. I'll probably be lazy and lead to leamington again coz i know I've got that route on my garmin and also it's relatively flat. It will be at a steady C run pace as last Sunday was the first long ride I've done in a while... :lol:

Hi all - great news. The kit should be arriving at Andy's house this weekend! I think that's about 2 1/2 months from placing the order to receiving it, and a bit of a record I do believe?! Anyhow, if you placed an order, you can pick it up from his house next Tuesday evening, 16 May, between 6 and 8...
