Great idea George. I'm doing the Eroica Britannia next Sunday. I could probably do a ride on either 20th or 27th but former is more likely to be free from holiday negotiations because I know I am going to Edgbaston on the day before.

We really do need a June Intro Ride this Sunday - this is what brings new members and generates the B and A riders of the future. If no one else steps up I'll lead one and be there at 9.00 to meet any new riders who want to find out about the Beacon - probably go to Earlswood.

Hi Matt that's great thanks. Basic route is out on Rea Valley path to Longbridge thru Barnt Green, Tutnall, Dusthouse Lane, a left and a right etc. We can add loops if it's going well. They don't open until 10.30. Bring cafe locks cos you park at the entrance.

Just been reading the Aero edition of Cycling Weekly right tyres and wheels to get aero benefits apparently 23mm front and 25mm rear but I think you need to be tanking along before this works!

23 is so last century now! I switched to 25mm a while ago and they are great but now people are using wider rims and going up to 28 even on fast bikes. I've got a 21mm front tyre somewhere if anyone wants it, Only problem with old frames is clearance particularly if you use mudguards.

Hi it is Glynn Hughes. We went to the new Cyclists and Walkers Cafe in Grafton Flyford. Community Cafe by the Church. Quite roomy and friendly people usual breakfast baps, good tea cakes and cake. Worked out well for us and a sunny ride sure that Glynn a triathlete will be out again.

We stopped at Hampton Farm Shop on the B4084 just coming into Evesham from the west. Brand new shop on edge of the new estate. Very welcoming, free bananas, keen to attract cyclists.
