I honestly don't know why you would opt not to ride without mudguards this time of year :?: Show some respect for the group members around you and also the café owners as Pete said.

Its unfortunate that the group got split up in the latter stages, and despite repeated requests to knock the pace back a touch to let others get back on, my requests seemed to go pretty much ignored. :cry:

Rest assured your kids will always need you, even when they have left home they still have a habit of returning! I guess its all about finding the balance and one that needs careful consideration to all parties concerned. Now I tend to think better when I'm out on my bike, so therefore I spend a lot...

Put me down to do a B run to the Wayside Farm Shop in Wickhampton, 72 miles BH to BH so a little longer than normal? The rear mounted light/camera is certainly worth considering. Its identical to the Fly6 in every way, and nearly £90 cheaper!!

TIP - If you do buy one, then fit the largest size Micro SD card you can in it ASAP

I've been advised to steer away from shimano coz you can't maintain them? Was looking at mavics? Really....? From my own experience but a laptop in a pannier isn't good unless you can equal the weight on the other side. Then you are talking some serious weight lugging around every single day. Of course it depends on the size and weight of the laptop and my company one was a heavy old brute and built to wit...

This is route that I did back in the summer, albeit it one way HERE A little bit further and certainly a lot quieter than the A38, but certainly a lot more climbing as well. And in truth I don't think that I would relish the thought of turning round at Weston and then heading back on the same route!...
