Maybe carry one of those back-up phone batteries in case you have a long day or can't charge every night. Given a good one will charge a phone a few times I should imagine a Garmin would be no more hungry.

It's really not clear on the Bodhi web site and, being confused myself and thinking that the golden eye wasn't the most relaxed fit of the range (red eye is described as "QUALITY AND COMFORT" whereas golden eye as "PERFECT FIT FOR EVERY BODY") I queried why the most relaxed fit was not being offered...

Sorry to raise hopes, they only relaid the bit around the island at Bells Lane (I don't recall it being a problem). They have at least put some paint marks around the bad patch that I and presumably others reported and one or two other holes.

I don't quite agree with this, I prefer to report only those which I believe represent a particular hazard. If we all report every pothole the more hazardous ones will take longer to be fixed.
