Re: Beacon Tour of The Hebrides and Highlands 2015?
The mountain pass is the A road between Airdhasaig with a very steep ascent from the junction with the Huishnish Road. After the plateau it drops down steeply towards Loch Seaforth. If you are lucky, you may see sea eagles as there are a number living in and around the mountains of North Harris. htt...

Re: Beacon Tour of The Hebrides and Highlands 2015?
Western Isles I concur with Simon. On Harris, the 'Golden Road' from Rodel following the east coast to Tarbert is a superb cycling road with great character. I would place it in my all-time favourite cycling roads in the UK. Harris also offers some interesting detours to places to Huishnish or Rhen...

6th September - Teme Tickler with more down hill than the Baker's Dozen
We had to find a sequel to the recent Baker's Dozen ride but this time with more downhill. It is the same format as last time. start at any time in the morning, ride independently or in very small groups, ride at your own pace, Wave enthusiastically at your fellow rider! What about Rendezvoux Club Runs whereby individuals or small groups all meet at a given location such as a café with takeaway facilities. Riders would make their own way to the rendezvous and maintain 2m distance whilst eating cakes or 200m if Paul Johson is speaking at full volume?
