Nice pics, really like the second one, good effort lad!

Although what is that rider doing in long sleeves on a day like today?

Thanks all who turned up.
I had a go with a couple of laps to go, stayed off the front for about a lap then got caught, good fun :D

Could be an interesting final week with Albert and Roman doing a 1-2 on Froome, if they have the legs.

RESULT: Congleton CC Gawsworth circuit 09/07/13

First 10 on the TT bike for 3 years, brilliant turnout, 40 riders.
I did a very hot and sticky mid 22, got the pacing slightly wrong after having words with a BMW, won the event by 10 seconds which was a bit of a surprise..

It may take your body time to adapt, try on a couple of training rides and see if you are still lacking a bit of power, it could be, without seeing pics that your old position was nor far off, you could try just 1/2 inch with the bars.

If you area bit comfier then you could just have had a bad day...

Thanks Oscar, rode over this morning. Course is about 1/2 mile opposite the visitor centre if you can't find it. MTB course is OK but not very challenging and a bit short, surface is a bit dull (hardpack) and avoid weekends if you can as you will spend more time stuck behind slower riders. Good if y...

Conclusions so far, Wiggins descends like a tester and Evans is probably one of the best tactical riders of this generation.
If his form continues to improve he could give Nibali a good run, but can't see him winning looking at next weeks stages, ouch..

Might do one day, would be good to know just how rubbish we all are compared to the top level.

My last real comparison was a 25 mile TT, 1988 in Cheshire, Boardman beat me by 15 minutes, and any aspirations of been a pro went that day..Although I won a chain, for finishing on a 5 :D

Ben has looked after my Zipps for the past few years, there isn't anything special about them, except the marketing.

The rear hub seized on mine and he replaced it with a sealed bearing, something my generation of Zipps didn't have.

Circuit races are very different to road racing so difficult to compare.

Think you will find most road racers have been off the back at some point in there careers, part of the learning process, just enter it and try and stay in the top 25 at all times.
