Before it reached the cobbles he's been a bit unlucky the past few days.
Wonder what happened to Contador today, looks like he was on a bad day as well.

Real shame we didn't get to see an epic Froome vs Contador battle.

It's very good, nothing new but more about what a nasty piece of work he is/was.

I never get tired of watching the Kimmage Tour of California spat, the other riders look like they wish anywhere else, but sat next to him.

Impossible to say what will happen in July but Contador has shown he doesn't need a team and he can beat all of Sky on his own.

Most of the fans were fine but watching some of the Giro mountain stages i thought a lot of the people who were running along side the riders were idiots just trying to get themselves on telly. From reading a recent interview with Froome, Wiggins sounds like he was a Prima Donna during the 2012 tour and most of the team were giving him a wide berth...Shame we won't get a Lemond/Hinault unless Richie Porte is ill before the tour and Wiggins replaces him. Guess Wiggins will be out of Sky com...

First 10 of the year, another nice bumpy circuit, no dead pheasants though. Nice bit of catering at the finish, tea and homemade cake. Cracking route again this year with about the right mix of climbing.
Got a fantastic tailwind about half way round, rode most of the route on my own, just to avoid any sillyness on the hills, completed it in around 3hrs 30mins, still too exhausted to download the file..
