Re: hill climbchampionship Sat 17th Sept RESULTS
Just for the record, IMO I don't think sweeping the course should happen every year.... assuming someone is mad enough to try it again! Mud, leaves, horse S%&t are all par for the course. But this year was exceptional. The road was clean until just 2 weeks before the race, when 1-in-20 year coppicin...

Re: Club runs - 10th September
Thanks to Neil O (1 of 3 Neils!) for leading an enjoyable and fast A run to Malvern. 31 kph av on the way back with the tail wind. Some impressive pulling on the front by Andy. It got a lot easier for me after I unstuck my back brake on top of Malvern! It all seemed rather chaotic and unorganised at...

Thx for interesting replies. He has yet to ride the bike and I will see what he looks like when he does. He is no more than 6 ft max but says he has a 34 inch inside leg and short body (opposite to me!), but it just looks too big for him. If there is no specific need for cross frames to be bigger th...

CycloX frame fitting
A mate has just purchased a cycloX bike (Cannondale CAAX) from Evans. When he asked me about sizing I advised he would be about 56 cm frame based upon his height and trying my 56 cm road bike. Evans sold him a 58 cm on the basis that he was border line. My question is, with cycloX do you go up or do...

If there are only a few A riders (not sure how many are joining Nick oop north?), then feel free to join us, but you'll be expected to contribute on the front at a steady but spirited B run pace. No surging, no drops. Probably an indirect route down to Raphael's at Evesham. Watc...

Gave up looking. Given the move to wider tyres, seems there is a big hole in the market.
I have hopefully solved it by managing to squeeze an old pair of wider sks mudguards under the brake caliper.

Are there any split-mudguards that will fit a bike (Van Nicholas Yukon) WITH eyelets and 700 x 28 mm tyres?
