Firstly...don't ride it. It could just be a crack in the paint lacquer, but equally it could be in the carbon. Only had one PX bike frame and that was a Stealth TT. It was pretty basic and rode ok, however the frame was rather flexy under heavy load. This didn't bother me too much as how often do you really sprint on a TT? However for a hill climb bike with all the watts and torque going through the frame......

Barry,

An unbalance is normal due to your brain favouring one leg (ie being right handed and right footed). You can train it to even things out, but to be honest as long as it's within a few % of 50-50 I wouldn't worry.

I'd say either B or C will serve you well. We are now into winter, so our club runs tend to be around the 100k mark with a cafe stop mid-distance. I'd probably start off with a B and see if you can keep the pace, as it's always good to push your limits a bit...that's how you get stronger and fitter....

If you are not a league member you'll have to wait until close to the start of each race to see if there are day slots. League members get priority (as they paid for it). Remember to bring some money..it's £13 I think per race. Usual course limits are around 80 riders, but some can do more...depends...

The suspicious one's are usually those that have a large time gap between them and 2nd place. I don't trust the result unless it has HR, Power or both as it's all too easy to stick strava on a mobile phone and moped it.

You just need to turn up with £3 in your pocket, sign on...then slog your guts out for 5mins (ish). Meet up is at the bottom of winwoodheath rd 30mins before the start time, which is 10am.

It is 130km route, but pan flat with nice smooth roads, so shouldn't be a problem for most B runners....

Why they are top dressing it is strange to me...the surface is actually good right now, it's like they are intentionally ruining it. Unless they put a cheap, non wearing surface on it and now need to dress it lest it decay.
