Thought tonight went well and the most civilised looking 4th cat race I've seen (Dave may correct me). Shame that the commisaire hadn't read the rule book as everyone else in the sport seems to know about the change. Understandably it caused some upset, but kudos to the kid for saying he was happy t...

I've used sports cover direct and also snow card for mountain biking holidays, but there is always an emphasis on personal accident for the activities rather than damage to equipment. I have a couple of bikes insured with British cycling bike insurance as I can't afford to replace them and the home ...

Track Accreditation

Did my full day track accreditation at Derby on saturday and despite being overpriced (£150) it was really good and got a lot covered. The individual feedback was minimal and did feel that we were told off a lot (in a good way) as a group, but it really did hammer home their points on awareness and...

For anyone that hasn't ridden on the track or ridden a fixed wheel bike can you let Pete or I know. For info the riders in the novice group from saturday would've ticked off Level 1 of their accreditation + a bit more as they did so well. I'll be looking to build onto the progress so far, and can qu...

If the Birmingham business park races are back on then this would be a really good team event. It's a big wide course and would be perfect for a team effort, working for someone that has decent kick and can be lead out for a sprint. A break has also stayed away at two races that I've ridden there, s...

Thursdays are good for me.... can we pick somewhere with plenty of roadsigns  I always used to do the star city loops and they were perfect training for racing and bunch sprints.... a confidence I've lost in recent years. My only gripe with them is the traffic near the start around spitfire...

Looks like a good race Laurence... imagine it's a tough one! Hit us up with some 2/3's dates Stu and I can come help you out. I'm cheap! If the Tudor grange races are on I'll do them too and wouldn't mind a couple of curborough crits, even though the course is a little scrappy. Be good to get us ove...

It would be good to get the conversation started about types of races people are thinking of doing in 2017 (specifically road and track).... hopefully we'll get an idea of what individual targets are, and how we can help each other out etc. The race calendar is slowly emerging and I'm starting to th...
