Even-newer normal Club Runs - Sunday 13th December

Hi all, wonderful weather to welcome back club runs, eh? Huge thanks to Philip Whiteman for organising the Salt and Cotswolds Audax on Saturday. There were 30 riders, with six from Beacon, so a decent turnout given the wintry forecast. Those of us on Philip Whiteman's Saturday audax had the better o...

LIMITED CLUB RUN RESUMPTION FROM SUNDAY 6TH DECEMBER

Hi all, after much reviewing of the Government advice, we have decided to re-commence club runs within this guidance from this Sunday (6th December). The Even-newer normal is defined below: Two types of club runs are permissable, namely: 1. Non-stop Beacon Burst rides with a maximum of six riders 2....

CLUB RUNS SUSPENDED AGAIN!

This is perhaps, the least surprising message of the week, but as we enter Lockdown v2.0 from Thursday 5th November, we have no choice but to suspend club runs until at least early December, or until Birmingham is defined as Tier 2 or better. Official advice is that outdoor exercise is encouraged, b...
