Ooer a timely wheel discussion. I'm using CPX22s... about £70 for both of my wheels (stock on the bike) and while they're ok when on the roll and winter they're a bit crap at everything else. I'm thinking of spending about £250 on a set and seeing how it goes. Merlin are doing a sale on Krysium Equ...

I have Shimano RS80s on my Audax bike and I think that I am right in saying that these wheels share the exact same rims as the Dura Ace ones? EDIT Just checked and yes they are the same rims. And for a pair of wheels that are currently selling for just less than £300 (Merlin) they are awesome value ...

Well after doing all that, no flipping differance what so ever! Tried differant pedals.......still there? Stripped front chain rings and greased the chain ring bolts.......still there? Then started the process all over again, but looking at it with some logic. 1) Only there when applying extra load,...

I cannot believe that there were only 40 odd entries for this? With a relaxed 09:30 start, three unmanned controls in 100kms and mostly quiet country lanes, it's a really nice enjoyable event. Pity that we had a torrential down pour at the mid way point, as the day started so sunny and warm ...

The Silk Run - Saturday 4th June
Lovely little Audax this, I rode it last year. With only climb, okay it is Stanway, but thats not that bad really. NOTE - You need to be quick to enter, check out the closing date The Silk Run 100km cycling event starting from Tewkesbury. Spend a leisurely day cycling through the lanes of the Evesha...

I've read elsewhere that you can get away with a difference of up to 0.6mm for the shifting to still work OK. I don't know because I have never tried it, but personally I would question that because 10sp works on a very close tolerance? I have just measured a Ultegra 9sp cassette and a 10sp Ultegra...

Lack of grease on the external bottom bracket threads, that can cause an annoying little creak on the pedal down stoke! Mr Sheen polish on the shoe plates and liberally applied to the contact areas on the pedals is always recommended before a ride as well. Works much better than WD40 or GT85 thanks ...

So I presume then that you screw that onto the rear of battery compartment cover and then buy This
Is that correct?

Pictures would be good?
Just trying to get a feel what mounts people have or are using?
The Oregon has a fantastic little handle bar/stem mount that really works/looks very well.

Quite simply, both these little hand held units are simply fantastic units in their own right. If I had to fault the eTrex, it would only because you cannot load the Garmin 1:50 maps to it. That said OSM is nearly as good, and they are free! A few weeks into the ownership of the Oregon 450 with a Ga...
