Were were talking about just that today, and we think that is just not worth the risk if the temp is below 4 deg three of us came off today at 10 mph on ice we could see, but it would of been much worse if we had been doing 20 mph in the dark

On the evidence of Wednesday night I have decided that water that comes up to the bottom bracket is a puddle ,from the bottom bracket to the bottle cage is a flood and above the bottle cage you've missed the road and you are in the river, I think we covered all these categories on wed night

Thanks to George and the army of helpers for another first class event. Seriously good fun,and seriously bad jokes, especially the one where my pedals seemed to become welded to the cleats and just would not disengage.Just about got them off in time for the football.(wish I'd not bothered)

Did a test run of this today superb route. some wheel spinning climbs. As already said needs to be treated with respect, but within the capabilities of a lot of A and B riders. The summit of Long Mynd in driving rain possibly the most fun one can have in lycra ,or am I just weird.

I must say that l prefer the club runs that come home past the Man in the Moon pub, that way I get to go past the original and historic centre of Northfield village, from the Victorian railway bridge up the hill past 19th c houses and 18c cottages past the former Victorian school . Past the last few...
